She’s the girl reading while waiting in that coffee shop down the street. If you take a peek at her mug, the non-dairy creamer is floating on top because she’s kind of engrossed already. Lost in a world of the author’s making. Sit down. She might give you a glare, as most girls who read do not like to be interrupted. Ask her if she likes the book.

Buy her another cup of coffee.

Why be frightened of everything that you are not? Girls who read understand that people, like characters, develop. Except in the Twilight series.

You tell them things that you’ve never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. Be who you are and say what you feel will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you. When something wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell them about it.

They are not embarrassed to cry with you be who you are and say what you feel with you when you make a fool of yourself. Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but rather they build you up and show you the things about yourself that make you special and even beautiful.

You find that being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel true pleasure that’s so real it scares you. You find strength in knowing you have a true friend and possibly a soul mate who will remain loyal to the end.

Life seems completely different, exciting and worthwhile. Your only hope and security is in knowing that they are a part of your life.

I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without prob-lems or pride.

I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate

Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do. Be yourself; everyone else is already taken. I’m selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle.
